Me and my dad constantly argue about this. i need to know. The age of consent here is 16. So does that mean a teenager can have legally have sex with no one saying anything, or does that mean the teen can have sex but with their parents permission? And im not talking about with someone over 18 or younger than 16 of course.What exactly is the true definition of '; age of consent';?
It means the partner can't get arrested for having sex with the person who is at the age of consent.

I never heard about this term. Maybe it means that it is easier to get with girls it is like an age or like a period of time. The democratization of sex, it is not on a lockdown. Before was more after marriage, ';I want a virgin'; kind of thing....
well in my state as long as ur within 3 years of age u can legally date and have sex with anyone u want but the whole age of consent thing is different, i think the age of consent is just something saying we cant charge someone with rape (if they are older of course) but i think if the parents want they can press charges not sure about that though but u can just ask a lawyer in ur state
