What is your definition of true love?

I believe that if you are truly in love, you value and appreciate a person's true nature, flaws and all. A person who is truly in love will not try 'fix' or change another person. Obtaining a sense of identity or personal security is not part of true love in my opinion. I also don't think true love is purely emotional like so many people think.





These are just my opinions, sorry if I offended anyone. Anyway, what is your definition of true love? Would like to hear from everyone.What is your definition of true love?
true love is honestly just an emotion that is meaningless because we humans are good with words.. but bad with expressions and emotions. we believe we know what love is.. maybe passionately giving up the reason for existence at the first site of a heart beating for another? or just the pleasure of wanting and having lust that lasts until the end of mortality.. Love is everything yet nothing at all.. love is envy yet happily giving in, love is jealousy yet being content, love is exotic yet enchanting...








umm.. love.. such a silly emotion..What is your definition of true love?
if you truly love someone, and they would like something that you own, you will gladly give it to them. True love has no ownership ... it has no self ... no personal desire ... it is only given as a gift. It is not something you want for yourself. There are no attachments, and with no attachments, there is no pain. If your girlfriend or boyfriend leaves you and you have True Love for them, you want only what makes them happy, even if it's not in your personal best interests. Attachments to your best interests aren't as important to you as their happiness. You are happy if they break up with you if it will make them happier. If you just have the love of attachment, or just have romantic love without True Love, then that loss hurts because you are thinking of your own personal loss of ownership or attachment with that person. True love is obviously not as common in today's world.
true love is accepting the person completely even the flaws..after all if that person love him too she will change some things that is for the benefit of them both...adjustment...compromise..understa鈥?is a part of it
In my opinion true love is loving something very much that you actially can sacrifice yourself to this person.
