What is the true definition of a ';traditional household';.?

A traditional household has been considered: the husband working to support the family, the wife was a homemaker and the children were obedient, respectful. Meals were eaten together at the dinner table, no TV.

Today: the traditional family is complicated. You have single parents, step children and remarriages, grandparents or other relatives raising their children's children.
