The true definition of racism is one race of people thinking they are superior to another. It not people who simply ask a racial question or people who take pride in their own racial background. Political Correctness and the misguided nuts who practice this obnoxious ideology have turned everything that has to do with race into racism when it is not.
Thinking you are superior to any other race and using stereotypes to judge them while still refusing to speak to them. For instance, I'm black and a girl once refused to shake my hand b/c she said it was dirty (I was like 7 and she was 21 or something). THAT'S racist. I had a friend who got cut off in traffic and screamed, ';I hate white people!'; Without even seeing the race of the person in the car. That's also racist. Making up derogatory jokes about a certain ethnic group'd way of life? Racist again. ';His hair is an afro,'; is not racist. Hell, if it's an afro, it's an afro. But saying, ';Run back to the border,'; or (especially to a white female) ';Go give head'; or even, ';Blacks only support Obama b/c he supports welfare,'; (which I heard just yesterday)...those are all racist statements. I'm black and I DO believe black ppl CAN be racist.

To me a racist is someone who makes judgemental decisions about another based on their beliefs,gender or race-rather than about that person as a person.


Comments that are just plain rude and/or can be taken the wrong way are often said by just stupid people who may not be prejudiced or racist-just thoughtless and not very kind.
