Dene.. people can tell you as if they where telling some old fairy tale because truly thats all it is anymore.. there is no such thing. People have lost their way in this world and are selfish. There is no real love these days. Sorry.. ask your grandparents because they knew what it was.. but it died with their generation.What do you think is the true definition of love?
To hold something or someone dear and very close to you. To have a special feeling for that person, to care about that person like you've never cared about something or someone else ever. To never want to be without that person. To miss their voice after you say goodnight over the telephone. I think it is when you have been with someone and they have seen every side of you (the good, the bad and the ugly) and the same with them (you have seen every side of them). If at the point you still want to be with them and would do anything to make them happy and they would do the same... i think that is what true love is!

True love is not all roses. People say this but it is unrealistic. It happens in the beginning of the relationship because it's new and exciting. But after a couple of years still with the same person, it changes....But it's not a bad thing. When your relationship changes, it makes your love stronger for the other person. You experience things together and you overcome it together. You don't always feel the butterflies but you feel excited to come home to them. Love is about mutual respect and understanding. Every couple fights and can at the moment not understand the other persons needs...but when you truly love your partner, you approach them and apologizing for freaking out on them and you make them feel better. Love is when you have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly...and still wanting to be with that person and make them happy. Love is not violent too (don't forget that) Love is about sacrificing and putting the other partner first before you. I mean I can go on but I think you get what I am trying to say.





Love is not all roses...it's about fighting to keep your love happy every single day and the reward is having them in your life.





My fiance is messy, can be dirty sometimes, and can be selfish or clueless to what I need. But he listens and understands me and would do anything he could to make me happy. Guys never know what girls need which is why you have to talk to them and let them know. Oh and we fight like every other day. But when we fight we can feel it in our hearts that in just a few moments we will show each other how much we love and charish one another. At the moment we are frustrated or mad about something. People think fighting every 2 or 3 days is alot of fighting, it's probably true but he treats me better then any other guy out there. If he didn't then I wouldn't stick around now would I.
when you feel so comfortable and yet so excited to be with someone and cant imagine your life without them, and trust them totally, thats love i think.
Any definition is going to be very subjective.
