Like most of the answers, yeah I'd say cute refers to the face and hott more refers to the body. Cute is like pretty or maybe beautiful and also their personality. Hott is more like you see comeone random on tv and just be like ';ooo he's/she's hot'; hahaa


If you're talking about guys, I think being called cute he probably thinks you're pretty and sweet and has a crush on you. If someone calls you hot he's probably thinkin ';yeah I hook up with her'; but not always go out with her.


I've been called cute before and it used to bother me cuz I thought those guys just saw me as like little sister cute but it turns out i was wrong and he really did like me so I would take cute as a better compliment :)

hot=sexy can be used for crushes movie stars random chicks (not close friends)


cute=beautiful can be used on friends crushes and little kids





its good to be cute and with guys both can be meaning they like you but guys usually don't say cute so its usually a good bet (unless u ask them) that they like you if they say your cute because guys will usually be like oh look at that girl shes hott did you see vanessa hugens in that movie last night she was so hott so they are sorta going out of their way to say cute.

yea if they flirt it ether means they think ur hot cute etc.... but usually i let girls no that i think there cute or hot when i flirting with them (but that's me)
