Well the four Gospels are each an account of the life and ministry of Jesus, each see from a slightly different point of view.
The Gospel is the message of love and redemption preached by Jesus.
I think in this context, you would be thinking of an edited version of your life story so far.
May be you could tell it from the point of view of a member of your family, or a friend. Maybe from the point of view of an older sibling.
Hope this helps.What is the true definition Of Gospel?
the four books in the New Testament (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) that tell the story of Christ's life and teachings
an unquestionable truth; ';his word was gospel';
folk music consisting of a genre of a cappella music originating with Black slaves in the United States and featuring call and response; influential on the development of other genres of popular music (especially soul)
religious doctrine: the written body of teachings of a religious group that are generally accepted by that group
a doctrine that is believed to be of great importance; ';Newton's writings were gospel for those who followed';
From the Olde German, ';Godspel';; goad-good + spel-news
i.e., 'good news'
Modern usage, a teaching or doctrine of a given religion; its dogma.
This word is much abused and has no end of 'loose' meanings. If this assignment is religious in nature, then I suspect you are being asked to give a short narrative of what your religion (or its icon: Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed, etc.) means to you and the influence it has had on your life.
Best thing is to ask the person who gave you the assignment, especially if words like 'witness' and 'testify' are commonly used in your religious services.
I wish you the best.
skep, who says,
';It is best to 'clarify' before you 'testify' as a 'witness' eye.';
Can I get an 'Amen'?
gospel simply means, good news and its from old english
