How are bubbles formed? What is a true definition of them? ?

JUST WONDERING.....How are bubbles formed? What is a true definition of them? ?
When air is trapped in a film of material that is ';cohesive'; (sticks to itself), the material naturally wants to fall into a shape that is the most energy-efficient. It turns out that spheres are the most energy-efficient shape. This is why bubbles are always round. (Except when some force MAKES them change shape).

I hoped this helped somewhat. How are bubbles formed? What is a true definition of them? ?
Bubbles are formed by gas rising out of a liquid, and the liquid encapsulates the gas.
