What is the true definition for a ';scene kid';?
A scene kid used to be something negative, at least where I live. We used the term to describe young kids who came to hardcore/rock shows to appear ';cool'; and had no idea what they were in for or watching. They were the kids who tried way too hard to fit in and came to shows to copy anyone they deemed cool and altered their appearance because of the crowd. They often ended up getting in the way or starting a fight because someone accidentally runs into them during a show.
It has since been turned into a ';fashion'; term, though I personally think it's still a term for people who give themselves ridiculous appearances to stand out and be non-conformists, while in actuality everyone in their group of friends look like clones. In fact, now that I think about it, it hasn't changed. A scene kid is someone who tries to hard to fit in with a stupid outfit and hairstyle, without knowing anything about the culture they are throwing themselves into.What is the true definition for a ';scene kid';?
I KNOW THIS ONEEE!!! =] ummm someone who is into fashion and has emo kind hair only they are more colorful... and aren't as sad..they usually spike the back the hair of and make their hair all puffy... hope tht helps
basically the emo version of ';princess';
