What is the true definition of a farmer?

Okay so i live in tennesse and i want to know what everybody else thinks the definition of a farmer is?What is the true definition of a farmer?
They are referred to as dumb farmers and that鈥檚 NOT SO. They build their own buildings, layout and mark their own fields and water, harvest the crops, repair their own equipment, weld their own broken equipment do their own electrical work. They like to make crops grow because of the satisfaction. The reason they are called dumb farmers is because they are the ones that feed all the dumb arrogant *** that think farmers are dumb and they can鈥檛 feed themselves. If the farmers could just stop feeding those dumb *** people there wouldn鈥檛 be so many of them around. I鈥檓 not a farmer but I know who feeds me. All the food we buy at a grocery store comes from farmers, where else. There was a farmers market in town and for some reason a woman couldn鈥檛 get down through the road through the markets with her car and became irate. She called one of the local talk shows and told the guy that she wasn鈥檛 going to buy any more groceries from the farmers; she was going to buy her groceries at Safeway鈥檚. WOW....robert u are an idiot....he means a farmer....not an agricultural firm....obviously you've never done a hard day of farm work before, so insulting those in which you know nothing about is ignorant. Farming is an essential way of life, where i am from, living off the land is something that is cherished. We do not ';exploit'; animals or plants. They are a means of living, and most farmers treat their animals with the utmost respect. The hardest working people i know are farmers, and it disgusts me to see ignorant people such as robert to belittle them. Also, I will guarantee that growing up on a farm makes you a better person, working builds character and teaches you to not rely on other, also not to make excuses; another thing that too many people today do.
He/she who grows/produces/markets crops/yields, animals e.g, poultry, cows and any product that can be associated with agriculture.
A farmer is someone who owns land that is used to grow food for humans.
Farmer - crops (corn, wheat, etc)


Ranch - livestock (pigs, cattle, horses, etc)





HOWEVER, if one owns both i consider it a farm
En-slaver/exploiter of plants and animals. The term domesticated is a PC why to hide the nasty truth.
