My AP psychology teacher offered my class extra credit if we wrote a paper on love, whether we right about the causes of, effects of, etc.
I've got most of the paper down, but there's one thing that's bugging me. What is love?
Love to me means something, but it means something different to my friend.
If you're willing, I'd like to hear your opinion on what love is. I don't need a textbook definition or a widely accepted answer, but what you feel in your heart. What is the true definition of love from the heart?
the true love is what god give to us.What is the true definition of love from the heart?
I'm in love, and have been for many years. and honestly, I think it's one of the hardest things to explain. It's a feeling, it's probably the best feeling in the world to love someone, and have them love you back. to love is to care for, to appreciate, to be friends with, to confide in.
man, i'm going to do bad when writing my wedding vows.
In my own words: love is the attempt, desire, notion, or longing to take a soul into your heart and care for it, tend its wounds, hold it close, and protect it from the hate and pain of the world around us.
That's what love is to me. ^_^
to me, love is a deep emotion that you feel with your entire being, mind, body, and soul. it's when you care for someone so much that it feels like you'll burst. when you would do anything just to make that person happy, even if it doesn't include you in their life.
i hope that helps you, good luck!
Love is unconditional and it is a strong force that cannot easily be broken..it lasts forever. I once thought Love was an emotion...but emotions can change %26amp; love should either remain or become stronger ..so yahh..Love can be many things :)
to me it means that its a feeling that means you care deeply about another person....
Wow! What an ask to write a paper on love!
Well.. I've recently found love in my boyfriend of 5 1/2 months. I haven't loved him from the start though.. I remember clearly thinking for the first 4 1/2 months of the relationship.. he's a really great guy, it's a great relationship, but I definitely don't love him. Then all of a sudden.. I dunno something changed and I just started to love him.. definitely not anything I could have helped.. was just automatic.
I would describe love as the best emotional feeling that I've experienced (as for physical... ;) ). Anyway.. my experience of love is basically caring to the extreme, just knowing that the person you're with is exactly the right person for you at that moment, and that they'll love you no matter what, and vice versa. Yeah.. it's kinda hard to describe.. it's not exactly elation.. coz it hurts a little when you're not with the person. But yeah.. it's just great. Kinda have to experience it to know what it is. Have to be a bit careful as well.. you're kinda giving your whole heart to a person when you love them.. which I know could end it heartbreak quite easily. Ah well.. would definitely rather have loved and lost than never have loved at all.
There's different kinds of love too.. I've got some friend love, and some family love. Don't think friend love is as risky as boyfriend love. It's just easy love. And family love.. well that's basically just knowing that I'd do anything for them.
Sorry for the essay :P I'm just one loved up person at the moment.
