What is the true definition of Emo?

I thought I was emo, until I read some other definitions. Now, I don't know which is the real definition. What is the exact definition? I already know it is short for emotional, but that doesn't really describe the type of people.What is the true definition of Emo?

Deliberately emotional and Whiney people where boys wear girls tight pant. sometimes they can be confused with Gothics to the untrained eye (don't let the dark eye-shadow fool you). but yeah check out the Web sites listed they may or may not help you. you have to be trained in the style if you really want to be emo. Find an emo mentor and see if they would be willing to train you. There are great emo art available and cartoon characters, music clothing the whole bit. ( I suggest you be natural and do what pleases you and if no one likes it well la de da. you can create your own style just stick to it and be the one.
