What is the true definition of long hair?

I have been told its when you can touch your shoulders when extended.What is the true definition of long hair?
In the salon we define hair lengths as


Short - not past nape or ears


medium - over ears, past nape not touching shoulders


Long - touching shoulders


extra long - past the shouldersWhat is the true definition of long hair?
I think, hair that is over your shoulder long is being called long hair..


For hair, i think it will be better if you just put your hair naturally (a little bit curly, is it?) and don't get it being straighten.. Many people would like to have a natural curly hair and many would like to pay a lot of money to have a curly hair as natural as it can be made..
I would say at least two inches past your shoulders.
