What's the true definition for a ';lyrical'; rapper?

I know this seems like a dumb question, but looking at some of the answers to these Talib/Monch/Canibus questions it's sort of confused me, I think I probably didn't have a full definition in the first place but anyone want to clear it up for me anyway?

I think I was originally under the impression being good lyrically meant simply; being good at rhyming, but is it also partly content too?

Just help lolWhat's the true definition for a ';lyrical'; rapper?
@ PPE, I said that? OK.

I said he's better than Pharaohe Monch, which in my opinion doesn't guarantee him anything but a top 20-25 spot at the most.

For real a lot of it has to do with your flow/voice/delivery because without those you ain't shyt already. Then it has to do with your ability to use complex multies and patterns smoothly, well timed metaphors/punchlines, storytelling, internal rhymes, etc. What's the true definition for a ';lyrical'; rapper?
I think it isn't necassarily content because like Blackalicious' A-Z song, it has no deeper meaning, theres not an overstanding plot, and it doesn't have a message, but it is CRAZY lyrical. But rappers with content and depth in their lyrics, are more lyrical because they use the lyrics to do something other than just make noise. The definition for lyrical rapper will be different for everybody though
true lyrical rappers can talk about anything and make it sound dope. they usually have a talent for creating more multi-syllable flows. and they are good at internal rhyming(making most of the words in one bar rhyme) like Rakim.

example:

Fire bombin' suicide army God's inside me

Ride 'til I motherfuckin' die high on canarcy

Unfocusable, 'xplodin smokin toast to ya vultures

Soldiers in haemoglobin words of evil spoken invokin'

Volcanoes evoked, these veterans are very violent

Non Phixion Jedi Mind Tricks a deadly virus

-Ill Bill
There's no true definition. Everyone has their own definition.

I think it involves many things, like subject matter, flow, delivery, similes and metaphors, wordplay, etc. Using all of those elements makes you a lyricist IMO
The true definition of a lyrical rapper in my opinion is; A rapper who uses complex rhyme schemes. But also has truth and meaning behind the lyrics and not just rhyming words for the sake of it.
A rapper using complex metaphors, complete sentences, and a lot of words with great content.
Clever Rhyme Schemes

Advanced Vocabulary

Multiple Rhyme patterns

Lyrical
i mean having a larger vocabulary and and being able to put that together with ur rhymes
uhmm cleverness... being able to string together words to get a message across
I've been asking this for a while too...

I'm not to clear on the term
Just ask Truly, Elzhi is the most lryical rapper of all time. Why you ask? Who knows just go with it

Besides Percee P, who has a better Flow than Pharoahe, Im confused by how you say you rate a lyricist yet Pharaohe has everything you just mentioned
